A Final Roof over our Heads

Despite the June "Gloom" and threat of a late spring shower, our workers
loaded the roof with rolls of black paper and many many packages of shingles

Yet from the ground floor - I couldn't get a good vantage view of their work.
So I grabbed my camera and headed up to the roof so see the roofing in progress

Here is the primarily layer of roof paper, the final moisture barrier past the shingles and the plywood.
I believe the black flashing in the foreground are for two solar skylight tubes which
we are experimenting in the old bedroom. (Which is windowless)

There was quite a coordinated ballet of workers, air-hoses, roll paper, and good balance.

Great birds-eye view of the garage

Great Birds eye view of the Office.
Coming up next - the windows.
