Misc Tidbits of Construction

Like I mentioned earlier - there are countless details to be had in any project.
Most of them will be buried and hidden under the drywall - invisible to all,
except if something goes wrong of course.

Looking up to the bedroom ceiling you have HVAC ducting,
sprinklers, electrical boxes & so much more.

In the front room - recessed canned lighting.
(Not to be confused with canned laughter)

The Jacuzzi tub starting to shape up. Still my fantasy to sit in the tub
with the windows cracked open, and waving to passer-bys.

Here is one unexpected surprise, compliments of the City Fire
Planning Department;  The whole house is required to have
Fire Suppression sprinklers. Now my ceiling is blotched with these
pimply canisters. Sleep well with these high pressure puppies
 hanging over your head!

The outside plumbing of the Fire Sprinklers - oh, did I mentioned it
also comes complete with a loud obnoxious bell,
just in case there is a water leak?

Speaking of clutter - this was our old bedroom, now used as temp storage
for stuff we couldn't haul away. Kinda odd, and convenient, to
have your lawnmower, work bench, and tool box all in one room.

Perhaps you thought the house and apartment looked a bit sparse?
How do you manage living on so little?
What is your secret to "Simple Living?"
Our little secret? - a jammed packed
storage unit. Not exactly keen moving all this junk back home.

NEXT STOP?????
