Well it seemed like eternity before any outward progress was visible, when in fact there has been tremendous work done to the inside of the house. Nearly all the rough electrical and plumbing has been completed. The HVAC crew has been installing all their lines and ductwork in concert with the endless stream of plumbers, pipefitters, carpenters, and City Inspectors.
At our Railroad Club we have a term for the early stages of its construction, and that is "Plywood & Pacific" And that pretty much sums up the house at this point. Here are 2 views on the very back of the Office and garage.
Yet the house has been beginning some dramatic changes. The first hint of things to come - the painters have added a touch of color to the underside of the eaves and roof edges.
Seemed easy to spray them now, rather then try to mask them when the roof is installed.
Our Contractor surprised us by taking samples of the existing color and matching it perfectly.
Say goodbye to "Plywood & Pacific!"
